Welcome to our New Mexico Bed and Breakfast. We want our B&B adjacent to Albuquerque and Rio Rancho to be a comfortable and relaxing alternative to the “hotel experience” whether you are traveling for pleasure or business. This is our home and we welcome you to be our guests.
The prices noted are for single or double occupancy. Rates include free wireless and wired high speed internet, a full breakfast, complimentary snacks, with tea, coffee and an assortment of beverages available 24 hours a day. We have special accommodations for the business travelers including flexible check in/check out times, business services including printer, copier, and fax, and early breakfast times upon request.
Our prices and cancellation policy are different for special events such as the International Balloon Fiesta, holidays, and group bookings. Contact us with any questions. State Sales tax of 7.0625% and lodger’s tax of 3.5% are additional.
Minimum Stay - 2 night minimum stay on weekends, (includes Friday, Saturday or Sunday) March through October, and holidays. 3 night minimum stay during the International Balloon Fiesta.
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our policies:
Smoking - Because of other guests’ sensitivities and our dry desert location, the Chocolate Turtle is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the grounds.
Pets - Although we love pets, we are sorry that we are unable to accommodate guests’ pets. Our resident families of quail, roadrunners and rabbits appreciate your understanding.
Children – We welcome well behaved children age 6 and older. Unfortunately, our inn and grounds are not suited for younger children and infants. For the safety and comfort of all our guests, parents must supervise their children at all times and keep them from running, jumping and shouting while inside the inn.
Check-in/Check-out - Check in time is from 3-6 pm. We generally can accommodate arrivals outside of that time with advanced notice. Check-out time is 11 am.
Payment - Payment can be made with credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express); personal, business or traveler’s check, or cash.
Cancellations - Notice of cancellation must be received 14 days prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total cost of your stay with a minimum charge of one night. The amount of the cancellation fee will be reduced for any nights we are able to rebook. Our cancellation policy is different during Balloon Fiesta, other special events, holidays and for group bookings. Please contact us for details.
Under New Mexico Law, we are not allowed to serve alcoholic beverages. Guests may bring their own, but for the safety and comfort of all of our guests, please drink responsibly.
